Knollwood Construction is putting the final touches on a room addition in River Forest, IL. This addition is 20ft x 18ft. Key features include: clear cedar interior and exterior, T&G ceiling, IPE flooring and custom screens.

This project added a screen room enclosure to a masonry patio on a custom home. The clear cedar framing was finished with three coats of gloss Spar Urethane to match the roof soffits.
This Multi-level cedar deck included a screen room so the clients could enjoy the Michigan summer nights without dealing with the biting insects that often come with lake homes.
This deck was built on the same footprint of the previous deck that failed prematurely due to poor framing and no drain water mitigation. This ground level deck was set on piers set 3 feet into the ground. Rain water and snow melt was handled by a sloped gravel base that directs the water to the rear of the property.
